Thanks again for everyone's good vibes. It really does mean a lot.

Trinity trailered just fine, though the ride didn't help move anything along Getting unloaded, was, well...yeah. We will work on it!

She was a good girl there, and is on a shit ton of drugs, plus IV fluids.

They don't think that it will resolve just with fluids and stool softeners, and will move on to more drugs and such (I'll be more specific when I have some sleep/get over the "This can't be happening")

Our last resort is surgery. Hopefully, it won't get there, but it is a hard choice to make!

Adoptahorse is right; I'm usually very prepared for emergencies, but I never thought this would happen to me. Knowing my budget and keeping firm to my ideals (ie, keeping the welfare of the horse in mind; I won't put her through something that has more drawbacks than benefits) has really helped, but even with surgery staring me down...I just don't know. For any of my other horses, I do - PJ is too old, Truman is unproven and too young to put through that, but Trinity is not, really. And I haven't had her that long. Ugh! Too many decisions.

Thanks again everyone
