Not the best photos but the first one is placed way to far forward which gives it the appearance of being too narrow.

The second one looks narrow in the wither area as well, but the photo is at a weird angle.

The third one looks the best, but once seated and girthed wither clearance could be an issue, so possibly too wide, again the photo angles are not the best.

And yes it is common for one side to be more developed then the other, not much can be done for that with off the rack saddles and depending on the fitness level of the horse he may level out or flocking adjustments may need to be made.

There is my elementary review take it with a grain of salt. lol
