The only advice I have is to keep her scheduled regularly with the Psychiatrist. If it's a psychologist, get her in to see a real doc (namely a Psychiatrist). A nurse practitioner or phychologist is not going to be much help in this department. Is there any way your husband can live at home and work near home? I think this may have a lot to do with her anxiety. With her grandparents and brother gone, with no real family unit (father) she is going to have much more anxiety/depression. (I didn't read the post about what's going on with her-link it?) I may be way off base here, but having a father at home will maybe stabilize her panic attacks/anxiety a bit.

I understand it's not always possible for fathers to be home, but it just might help your daughter.

Also what Lsrd said. Medications will help a bit, but in the long run it's a Psychiatrist that listens and gently guides that will be the most help. Regular visits are important. Keep a schedule with him/her.
