What is your favorite part and how safe do you feel?

-my favorite part is...everything? I suppose. I feel pretty safe...I can't say I've ever really felt truly unsafe around any horses I've ever handled. There have been a few that caused me to be a little more cautious than I would be with others, but it didn't stop me from having confidence around them or doing anything with them. I just make sure to stay more aware since I didn't feel I could trust them as much to not do something stupid.

What settings do you feel the safest and where do you feel the danger?

-I feel "safest" at home, which I think is the most obvious answer. I mean, the horses know the place, are comfortable there, and are least likely to act silly or be nervous about anything. I suppose I feel the most unsafe at a show with a young horse who has never been to one before. Even if I trust the horse, I still have just a stitch of apprehension because I don't know for sure how they might react to something. That feeling usually doesn't last long though....generally only within the first couplle hours of being there until I can see how the horse is going to respond to everything.

Do you like horses for the rush or the serenity?
-a little of both. I like the horses for the relaxing times, but I also love reining and I get a rush every time I go through a pattern or run down to that stop. However, I also love to go on a nice, liesurely trail ride and just chill.
