Yeah, she's pretty much in a rage right now haha. To further ice the cake, the vet didn't even mark her white coronet band marking down on the coggins certificate, either. So now I just have to walk her through some mud (thank God it's been raining her lately) and just pray that they don't notice at the border.
The problem is that this clinic doesn't have its own lab. I don't even know the rules here in MI, but for some reason I think that all coggins must be run through the state ag. lab (the original copy of the result is kept on file there). Even so, it's just been mistake after mistake for that damned clinic and I hope karma bites them back big time. They sure as hell were insistent that the damned bill be paid before the certificate could be released, but oh wait, they hadn't even finished it yet. Their customer service is 100% shitty, and my friend will be sure the let the internet know about it. Rawr!!!!
It's just really frustrating because this is a really reputable vet clinic who our BO and many, many people we know have been using for years. The clinic has been in practice for something ridiculous like 50 years. The vet himself is the son of the clinic's founder, so you'd think he'd put two and two together and use a little common sense here.
