It isn't the model of truck that is the question. An F-150 can easily pull a loaded 2 horse trailer. That is if you are properly prepared.

Do you have the towing package? Do you have trailer brakes? Are you using a receiver hitch? Can your springs accommodate the weight? Are you planning on a trip in the mountains or flat land? Are you used to driving a trailer with live animals ie starting out slow, easing into turns and giving yourself plenty of room to stop? Do you plan to go the speed limit or less or are you a lead footed driver?

The things you have to watch for are weaving and overheating. Your truck won't get tired and you don't have to let it rest during the trip.
