I wish Sun Dun Reality had worked for us. He was fantastic at first, but the more we used him, the less well suited we were. He showed WP lost of his life. The previous owner was a teenage girl that bought him to show, then decided to use him or speed events. He did not handle pressure of any type well and he got so he would not enter an arena. Of course, our slowpoke trail riding didn't show this, but the once we took him to our local rodeo club was a fiasco. We couldn't even get him close to the arena, let alone in it.

He also fed off of anyone else, horse or human, being upset and blew up himself.

We sold him to what we hoped would be a great home. The man that bought him was a decent, but not very brave rider. He had bought a larger horse place and had hired a full-time trainer. He had been riding beginner horses and was ready to step up. The trainer rode Reality and he was fantastic. Reality really knew his stuff. The man rode Reality and did fine, but he couldn't get him to do any "fancy" stuff. Reality would never volunteer anything, ever. He was very excited to have such a good-looking, well-trained horse and was aware that he would need to get lessons to be a better match.

Within a couple of weeks, the trainer was badly hurt by a different horse. A month or so later, I saw Reality's ad on a horse dealer's website. Sigh. He never called to see if we wanted him back. We didn't, but probably would have taken him just so we could vet his next home better than a horse trader would.
