^^to answer above^^ My instructor had a knee injury a couple of years ago. She can jump but has to do so with longer stirrups than normal to avoid too much wear and tear on her knee. She takes a clinic once in a while and jumps on occasion to keep up her form and to cross-train her horses, but knows she's not doing it "right". I don't know if it would be possible to demonstrate exactly what you're trying to explain if you can't reproduce everything exactly.
