AQHA is always and only about covering it's own ass. The fact is an attack can happen at anytime, without any warning, from any range of severity.
You keep saying "what are the statistics" trying to justify to yourself riding this horse. I don't think it's sinking in to you what hypp is and how completely unpredictable it is. The odds are you'll be fine OR you'll be injured. Think of it as 50/50 everytime you get into the saddle with him.

So, how lucky do you feel? And are you able to live with that degree of chance on a daily basis?


Agreed. If I have to get up into the saddle and wonder, "Gee, I hope the horse doesn't collapse and crush me today", I think I'd rather just not ride.. image
