You didn't hurt my feelings at all and I am fat. image

I agree with justbloo 100%. I believe that when a heavy person is out eating with average size people they are very self conscience about what they have on their plate. They don't want others to think that they are eating bad or they don't want them to say anything about what they are eating so they may make a comment about what you are eating to take the perceived attention off of what they are eating.

I would probably ask you why you don't like meat or something to that effect but I would never ridicule you for what you eat. I have no right what so ever to tell you what to eat or how to eat it and I think the the people that do speak such things are very insecure with their own choices in food or lifestyle.

I think the way it should be handled is like this: Thank you for your input into my eating habits but I do know what MY body needs and wants. Or, I appreciate your concern but I would appreciate it if you wouldn't comment on my food choices. I do not comment on yours so I expect the same courtesy.

Horsemanshit. Just another type barn blindness. It's everywhere.
Never apologize for what you feel.  It's like saying "sorry" for being real!
