So I take my droid back- the sucker was dead like DnH said, as soon as I plugged it in. Called the tech line, blahblah this and blah blah that, try this, that the other freaking thing. Nothing.

So I take it back to the store today.Guess what?
There is a freaking little button on the top of the phone. It unlocks it. The phone locks itself. Apparently tech is not aware of the button? All those returned ones? Probably locked.

So he unlocks t for me. Looks at me like I am a moron. So I say, why didn't they tell me that over the phone? Blank stare, sweet smile.

Thanks. So it is working now. And I love it.

The touch screen is incredibly responsive and fun. Keep in mind that I am like a 12 year old. I liked the Voyager when it worked, although the touch screen never quite did (work).

The keyboard is going to take some getting used to, but I seem to be settling in just fine with it. I can see excel, word and pdf documents. And the weather. And I have a bar code scanner, why, I dunno.

It doesn't have an EZ Tip calculator, though. What's up with that?
