LOL, I didn't think my mares were overly sucky but comparatively they sound like they're pocket ponies!

I mean they all come up to you, love kisses and give nuzzles, and like to be around you.
Lani's really the only one that can get a little indifferent and demanding.
I just find the big difference between them and geldings (this is only my experience with our geldings and ones that I've known) is that most geldings are quite babyish and I find the constant clingyness annoying. I find my mares much more mature and independent - they're lovey, but at the same time they can be workmanlike and get lost when you need them too. It's kind of like geldings want a 'mom', mares want a partner? I hope that didn't just piss anyone off, haha.

JMO though, I don't mean to offend anyone. My mom's geldings have all been either exactly like that or very similar. The one gelding I've ever had is actually not a pocket pony. He can be a suck, but for the most part he plays indifferent.
