We used to have vegetarian cabbage rolls and enchiladas (like none you've EVER had before) and then the regular turkey stuff for the meat eaters and the trimmings for us all (including ex-disgusting mashed baked turnips&carrots, can't believe I'm admitting this)
I don't know what I get treated to this year. I'll be happy with whatever comes my way
I've learnt that since losing family and not having family xmases with MY relatives, that other people's traditions are unique and amazing, and some people TRULY do believe that Christmas IS about the family, and they are the ones to invite a hobo like me and other "orphans" over. I'll say my old boss's was THE BEST. I got to sign their table cloth
AND they had THE BEST turkey EVER.
