You are most definitely wrong on that one, at least in my climate. I can have horses from up north or AB come into paddocks with shelters and still get scald within a week. I find TBs are pretty susceptible as well. Its very humid here, and those born here are the only ones that never seem to have the problems. All mine have shelter, they just never choose to use it. I try and work all the horses 3 days a week, so it rarely happens, but with the holidays, and the starvies comin in I've been busy. Based on th condition of his mane, im pretty sure my helper pulled him in when she was out on Wednesday, but do not know for sure.
