I tried to nicely say we didn't agree. I have been riding dressage for 25 yrs, I KNOW about leg, frame and yielding. If a horse is in a panicked situation and is trying like hell to get away, Leaning back with leg pressure and pulling on the reins is not going to make it stop. I don't know your coaches so I have no clue what exactly they said we also had a horse that tended to bolt when out on the trails, I was taught to use one rein and pull to the side. As soon as we started doing that, he stopped. There is a big difference from having a hot horse that gets pumped while being ridden and using your leg to keep her in frame than a horse taking off full speed in fear.

I don't know why you tried to throw your college diploma in my face either. Book smarts is a hell of a lot different than actual experience.

I don't agree with you and I'm sorry if that upsets you but I have ridden a lot of horses and I know what has worked for me.
