For my PR 475 class, we had to pick a pro-social topic.
I chose cross-country partly because I'm sure no one in my class knows what it is, and partly because it's a little bit controversial, and I know a lot about the sport so it'll be easy to stick with for a semester.
Right now I'm working on a fact sheet, which is basically two pages of facts about what I will be working on. I'm looking for facts about deaths in the sport, things they're doing to change the safety for horses and riders, etc. etc. That's pretty much all I've thought through so far.
So my question is this- does anyone have any good books, websites, magazines that could provide me with facts I can include?
If you're curious, this is kind of what a fact sheet looks like:
(it's just a random one I pulled off the internet). Thanks guys!
