Life is not about how hard you hit. It is about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.

I love sorrel overos. I always wanted a huge sorrel overo stallion. I bought him 6 years ago, but have since sold him. (No one wants to board stallions down here for less than $600 onth and I have other horses. As long as it is sane, sweet, not bitchy, and would do or try anything I ask, and sorrel/overo with good confo I want it. I have my dream horse. She cuts, reins, does WP, HUS, and showmanship. She's not finished but we have dabbled in each. Her main events are WP, HUS, and showmanship and a little halter on the side. And I luffs her. I would never sell her. I've survived on Ramen noodles before and if I ever got in that position again I would do it in a heartbeat. She goes everywhere I go and is real trooper. I've had plenty of chances to sell her, for more than 12K, but I just can't do it. I raised her and and I will be with her when she's 35 and ready to cross the rainbow bridge. I worked hard on that mare and she's mine. The stud is in my avatar, the mare is in my siggy.
http://successinthepen.blogspot.com I'm not a bitch. I just say what some people are really thinking.

Then Black Beauty/The Black Stallion - Johnny, solid black TWH. Then my dad owned Trigger- Sonny, true golden ASB, stallion. Now I have a whole bunch of Gingers descended from Trigger, chestnut ASB's that are direct descendants of Sonny. The true dream as an adult was to find a descendant of my dads breeding program, which I finally did 15 years after he sold the last horse. At 23 she had my real dream horse, Echo. Mary
