This is my newest project. Pretty much the most gorgeous palomino coloring I've ever set my eyes on - he glints copper in the light and these pics just
don't do that justice. But anyway...
He had about 10 days of proper training on him before being leased to an advanced/intermediate teenage girl (who is the exhibitor in these photos and has had her face obscured for anonimty) for use as a 4-H project horse. She's discontinued her lease during the school year, so I've inherited him and his vices
He's Skipper W-bred on top and Impressive-bred on the bottom (wish I knew his dam's name). We call him Chewy (name given due to cribbing--stupid, I know--but I think it's hilarious in a Star Wars sort of way). He seems to be in some sort of wonky growing stage right now, because his topline leaves a lot to be desired and I know someone's gonna comment on the hocks (I still am not well-versed in the posty vs. sickle argument). His job will be Western/English pleasure events. Without further ado...
