Cherokee was one of the mustangs we rescued last spring. His original adopter is unabel to keep him so is returnign him to the rescue. He has been to two
professional trainers, so his ground work has been started. He has not been backed yet. Once you get a halter on him, he leads fine, but you do have to work to
catch him. He is very food oriented
Although he has made a lot of progress, but he still needs a lot of time and patience. Cherokee is not a beginner or youth's horse. He will need an experienced home. He has been well cared for for the past year and is in great condition. He is up to date on his vaccinations and deworming. I'm not sure if they have been able to trim him yet.
He is a smaller boy, about 14.1 hands but stockily built
As soon as his former owner can bring him by, I will get some more recent pics, but this is him this fall.
I will waive our adoption fee to a good home. References will be checked and an adoption contract must be signed.
