I spent about 3 hours at the barn today just going through the paces with my little mare. I brought a junk saddle for a "just in case we got bored"
thing, and soon enough...we were bored. So I tossed the saddle up there to see how (or what) she'd do.
She did great! I tossed it up there and she sniffed at it, kinda shrugged, and then watched a piece of hay flutter around the arena. Here are some pics!
They're a bit blurry because my bf took them with his camera. I tried to tell him to squeeze the last bit of battery out of my digital, but he thought the
phone camera would be better for some reason.

Theres always an ugly trot photo to be shared
If anyone asks, I was always taught to let the rest of my line drag so I don't always have to fumble with it and worry about getting caught around my hand. Its always worked for me...never had any problems with it. It just makes it easier to gather the extra line up or slide out some slack when its needed.
