I like the angle through his gaskin, and the angle of his pasterns, which is an improvment from the super, posty legged halter horses currently out there. I wish his front legs were more straight down then how they have him squared up bunched under himself. this is my opinion.

I think if we are going to take a stand on poor breeding practices here, we could do alot better pointing fingers in a different direction than at this stallion. Is he perfect? Is there a perfect stallion anywhere?

How early must they arrive to go through quarantine?

Who cares if they collected him as a yearling?? WTF difference does that make? They probably are of the mind set to get him trained to collect and breed nicely at a younger age rather than trying it on a 4 or 5 YO stallion. He was World Champion Yearling Stallion at the Nov 2007 AQHA World Show, and they started advertising him toward the end of last year for the 2008 breeding season. They're probably just now collecting him (at 2, which I'm not too cool on). From his breeding info page I linked to on page 2 of the topline thread: "His VERY FIRST collection was easy and yielded OUTSTANDING results for a show yearling!!" and here's the link again, in case you missed it on the other thread. breeding info page
