This is my 3 year old 16 hh mostly TB and I've just begun her training May 1st. I was almost ready to ride her today but she is lame on her right hind
with a sore back and it seems like a classic hock issue. Her conditioning has been done very slowly, long warm ups, no hyperextension kind of maneuvers of any
kind, except those unbeknownst to me she may have performed on her own. The chiro adjusted her shoulder in last Wednesday and shod her fronts and she was
moving perfect until today.
Other than her horrendously long noodle pasterns do you see any obvious issues with her hocks conformationally that would incline her to this kind of issue? As of now, she's on rest in a stall/paddock combo until she can be seen. What would be your approach to this problem and where would you begin?
She just had a bath and was drying off but hey at least she has a clean sock for once so I had to take a picture, lol.
