It irritates me to no end when people claim to speak languages when they really only know a few words. Not only is it senselessly arrogant, they're just setting themselves up to look like idiots when they do it.

horseluvrelisha wrote: I said the legitimate sentence vs. slang argument was on page 45, can't you read? Her claiming to have 4 native languages is on page 11 and continued on page 12. "Congratulations Kizmet, you finely got something factually right !!! English is not my first language, but 1 [of] 4" <---"of" was "or" in the original post, typo since "one of four" is the only way that sentence makes sense and the f key is right next to r And then in her next post, counting her native languages: "ll vraiment isnt qui confondant / Ingles no fue mi lengua materna hablada en casa / Maar een van vier nam op / 1 2 3 with family and school, more fluent in some than others. 4 " Yes. She did.

She and her family talk largely in slang, so I hear French Canadian slang A LOT. When I'm with them, I also speak in slang. And it doesn't sound like what RFR said there, at all. Once again I don't really care, I don't think it has anything to do with her horses one way or another. But for those who are wondering if that piece of french was written by someone who has a good handle on the language, I can honestly say I highly, highly doubt it.

"Chouette" is pretty much a generic term of approbation in French, so can mean good, great, cool, awesome, lovely, cute, wonderful...whatever! Technically it means 'owl'. When I lived in France many years ago people used to say 'vachement chouette' - 'vachement' being slang for 'very'. But 'vache' means 'cow', so in my family when we wanted (in English) to say that something was 'very good' or 'very cool', we would say 'cowly owl'! Haha! Where exactly did you live in France? Ever visited Belgium? We lived in Briancon, in the Alps, near the border with Italy (sorry, my keyboard doesn't have accents and so on - do you know where I can find these?). My mother now lives in Belgium - Bruges - so I have been there quite often, and also saw quite a bit of the country when I was horse-shopping....

You now want me to prove I'm pregnant as well as 30 not 49? And I'm begging for money and gifts? Where?

Shortly after the dumbshit made this claim, she then "lolololo'd" at me for confirming Canadian was her native language, because Canadian isn't a language according to her.

It's not that it's spelled wrong, it's that it is nowhere near a coherent sentence, is clearly out of an internet translator as it has a misspelled English word in the middle of it (ETA - plus I can easily tell by looking at the sentence patterns. After the hundreds of high school French class papers I've graded, I can tell instantly whether or not something is out of a translator... a big hint is when it's RANDOM FRENCH WORDS STRUNG TOGETHER). Il vraiment isnt qui confondant ^Jibberish. Couldn't be an actual sentence regardless of how you look at it. If someone will lie over something as stupid as what their native language is, who knows what else they'll lie about? *rolls eyes* She said Canadian was her native tongue...& even though Texan is my native tongue, there are dozens of different was to slang the English here....(just saying...)

Texan is not a language. Its English. It may be butchered English, but its still English.
