Nightgames wrote: Well, we can, so what's the problem? Is it because I had to buy a crib, stroller, car seat, high chair, etc. instead of buying a saddle? Wow you sure can turn things around. But look how successfully you got the subject off your buddy and her "breeding" practices and goals.

Nightgames wrote: That was several months ago with the saddle, surely you can read the date stamps on these posts you are searching so furiously for. The cost of the pony isn't your business. It wouldn't matter if she costs $10,000, $1000, $100. It's not your business and it's not really any concern of yours.

I would have no problem explaining why exactly I'm breeding, what I'm breeding for, and so on. Completely different than prying into someone's finances.

And how do YOU know my finances? Lol. In one 24 hour period I had a horse severely colic, and my litter of puppies came down withn parvo. No animals suffered. My mare had her foal and didn't suffer any terrible neglect.

Plus you said colic surgery was not an option

Plus you said colic surgery was not an option Colic surgery isn't an option for alot of people. One of mine colicked a couple months back. She thankfully pulled through just from being drenched with oil and some other stuff but if surgery was the only option I had left, other than putting her down, I would have put her down. She's my best mare and my favourite horse but I, like alot of people, do not have the quoted 15k to spend on colic surgery that might not even work anyway.
