THE FUGLY SONGhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-_kA9Yiz6c(My 'S' doesn't always work. I promise I'm not referring to anyone as a hore. Unless I make it clear that that is my intent.)

When I ride my horse I get to forget I have a brain injury I was the daughter who wouldn't lift a finger in the house but cycled madly off in the pouring rain to spend all morning mucking out a stable.

0U812- Sounds like Gus is the horse we were thinking about. He was too far away from anyone and winter was coming so we decided to wait for something closer. We ended up with a smaller guy (15.3) which is the largest horse I've ever owned by about a hand. I'm a pony person myself, but trying to find a stout built 13.3 or even 14.1 horse was dang near impossible up where I live. Quarter horses and Appy's and Arabs galore, but no draft types. So to make yourself feel better go to www.bighorsestation.com and take a look at the picture of all the horses ready to go out - they have a picture of the FATTEST appaloosa I have ever seen. But, on the other hand, it sure beats a bunch of starving trail string horses.
