Whew. That feels better. And to weigh in on the trail riding discussion, I can and do take my 3rd/4th level dressage horse on trails but there's a reason I only bring my ipod when I'm out of the arena. I need some entertainment. But then again the trails only get so exciting in OH so that may be it.

If they told me they did endurance or competitive trail riding, I would think that was great, but if they just trail ride, I wouldn't see the point. Most trail riders around here are people who don't know what they are doing. When I see people with ASB's, I think they are probably nuts just because I worked at saddlebred barns as a teenager, went to shows, and dealt with nutty as horses and even nuttier ass owners. They seemed to allow this strange behavior to continue, even though the horses wouldn't try crap with me and the other grooms. Oye. This could also be regional.

Also if the horse if ugly, the owner is too....kinda stupid...but this isnt something that is ever usually true. : ) Its just the first thought that pops into my mind...kinda like the dog owner and the dog looking alike.
