Well, this morning started off OK. Went and fed the horses all was fine.
Just before work I decided to give Poco some invermectin for a tick she has in her ear that I cant get to. I get to the pasture and yell for her, you know Im hoping she will listen but as always being WAAAAAY over there she ignored me. So I hike my butt over there. Yell at her again and she looks at me but still stays put. Odd she normally comes to me at this point.
I finally reach her and she turns her head to me and all I see if blood. Running down her nose, in her nose, chest, and legs.

I called into work and said I was going to be late.
It LOOKS like she got caught in the fence but after I walk through of the property my fences are good. There are a couple spots that need tightening (thank you Red) but nothing that would remotly cause this. But until further inspection of the pastures they are both restricted to out main pasture.
I caught her and rinsed her up and assessed damage. Its all pretty superficial, a couple tiny punctures here and there, scratches and scrapes. She has two problem areas, on her chest is some swelling and her back leg is as well, cold hosing and a cold wrap for the back leg and cold hosing for the chest. Lots of corona all the way around along with swat during the day and iodine for the initial cleaning. Im going to get some nitrofurizone or whatever its call in the morning.
She is up to date on all her shots but I may get her another tetnus booster just to be on the safe side. She is acting thoroughly pathetic and after eating alot of comfort food on my part I'm feeling better as well. The pictures don't do the extent of the damage justice. I showed a couple people the pictures, they went doesn't look to bad, saw her in person an went "omg....
