I think the black has nice legs, but agree that he looks sore. Like a few others mentioned, it is not abnormal for a lower end/claimer that is in not-so-good condition who just recently raced to be body sore, and he screams body sore to me. Sucked up, head low, ears back, probably tends to swap feet he's resting too right?
I'd tell them you'll give them $200 cash for the gelding, and $500 for the mare and be on your way:) I think I'd have to take the pony broodmare, but probably not the 2yr olds--not as quick of a resale project.
