Imelda was moved to the "big" paddock to stay with "P" so that Bruce (the Mony) can learn to hang out a little on his own. He was getting a little too attached to "P" and we don't want to run in to trouble later on because he's too dependent on someone else for company to spend some time by himself. My video editing skills are pretty poor, but you can get an idea of how she's doing. She's almost 100% back to full weight. Her back bone and hips no longer stick out and now it's time to just build muscle on her.
Please excuse the junk pile next to the garage......we've been finishing off a workshop for my husband (still have lots of drywalling to do) and it's about time to make another junk run.
The weather here has been rainy, rainy, rainy so although we've been getting a little bit of green in the paddock it's mostly weeds because the sand base of our paddock doesn't make for a very sturdy base to keep grass growing when there is pony foot-traffic. No trouble however as a drylot situation seems to work well for most of our residents.
