I don't mean to be snarky, but don't instructors ride too? Is there any reason s/he can't demonstrate this on a horse? A lot of people (me included) can't learn off a verbal description - I'm visual and have to SEE it before I can do it.

I expect/expected no less from my own trainers/instructors if I needed a demonstration. As an instructor you should be able to get on and ride anything your teaching lessons on, whether it be your own lesson horse or a horse belonging to a student.
