Ok I'm sure everyone has that one thing they won't stand for in a horse; a pet peeve so to speak. Just interested in what everyone won't stand for
behaivor, trainning, conformation, anything that the horse dose?
For me it's standing for the Farrier/Hoofpicking...
I can't handle a horse that is hoof-shy. The hooves are very important and I won't have a horse that won't let me take care of them. I've had hoof-shy horses and we spent long trianning time to become perfect hoof holders, even learned to shake hands/hooves.
- I don't like people who have hoof-shy horses that continue to sedate the horse for the farrier. While I agree that the farrier work needs to be done, to sedate the horse everytime because you're too scared or lazy to work with your horse to train them to be less hoof-shy... It's just not safe.
