After years of leasing horses and a year of horse ownership while boarding, we're making the big move. We have our new gelding on our property, and our
mare is soon to follow. I actually think having a new baby in the house is less stressful than having four-legged beasties who are prone to every kind of
upset. My current obsessions include: colic, founder, accidental poisoning, casting, lightening storms, equipment failure (specifically the fence), and
over/underfeeding. I'm a nervous wreck!! Any advice on how to soothe my new horse mama self? Does time and experience take the edge off of this?
