Lately a lot of my western/ backyard rider friends have been asking me to give them english riding lessons, because a bunch of us are planning on joining a
Pony Club this summer. I've been having a lot of trouble explaining to them the proper leg position and seat etc in english riding, because I don't
ever think about it, I just do it.
Any suggestions on how I can explain this better, or show them?
Also can anyone suggest some exercises etc that I can have them work on to improve their seat and leg position, and any exercises that can help them improve their leg strength? I've found that none of them have any leg strenghth, to the point where they can't two point or post. I don't even remember learning how to post, so any help with explaining that would be appreciated too.
If you're an instructor/ trainer yourself can you please tell me how you teach people to do this?
