As for the cost, I'm not sure of it yet. I did tell the vet that he was not a horse I was going to spend thousands on for a surgery when he is functioning okay. She completely agreed and is suppost to be getting back to me. I'd like for him to be able to be more of a horse. I feel bad for the guy when I turn the other horses out in our big pasture, and he just paces wanting to go out there too. He is very into other horses, but he's a stallion. Of course he's going to want to be social. I've been thinking about turning him and Billy out together, but then, what if Jasper acts like a fool and Billy kicks him? I'm thinking that if we can afford it, and If the vet doing the surgery has a good outlook on it, I'm going to go for it. He's 24. He's had a rough life. It's time he just gets to loaf around and be a horse with no one expecting anything from him.
