My student is now horse shopping. We found this girl, she's about 4.5 hours away, but seems pretty cute from what I can see, so I would love additional input from the pictures and video provided.
14h, 9 year old, asking $1350.00
Samantha (my student) is looking for a horse she can start showing in the hunters, and eventually show in the jumpers. She will be boarding her at my farm and will be riding under my supervision for the first few months until they are used to each other. This mare is also far enough under their budget that they could send her off for 30 days if needed.

Midnight is a sweet & a lovable mare. She can jump 2' & has showed, foxhunted, & done cross country. Shes good with little kids & beginners & a good trail horse. Goes through water, mud & doesnt kick at other horses. Stands for farrier, vet & on cross ties. Follows you around & has nice ground manners. Good in the stall & in the pasture.
Her last email to me:
The only vice she would hae would be when tacking her up she kind of steps one or two steps away from the pressure but thats it for that and when washing her legs she doesnt really like it and will lift her leg up but wont kick! She kind of rubs her head but not completly. Other than that shes really sweet and good.
Also, shes not hot at all and she usually is really laid back but since we've been giving her grain and shes been away from her herd( Because she was losing some wieght so we had to worm her and keep her in the upper pasture for a week) and shes been a little more excited when riding with other horses but usually shes AMAZING, I think the grain and being away from everyone is making her mareness come out. But she wont buck or rear, bite, kick, etc.
She doesnt weave and has potential to be a good jumper would need some work but I am working with her and getting her back in shape from winter and she soon with back to her normal, fit self.
What living spaces would she have? And would she be with other horses?

And to add, Samantha is very petite and isn't going to be very tall, both parents are shorter. This is her on my very narrow 13.1 pony.
