I did not and will not give you every detail about the purchase and intended use of the horse. All of your assumptions are just that... assumptions. Assume away. You took two little details and made it your entire argument, yet you are missing a lot of other facts. I gave y'all very minimum details. Yes, HE wants to trail ride her mainly. He doesn't show now because he's never had a show horse. He would like to learn but he's not sure if he would be interested in it wholeheartedly. He also has other plans for her though, and frankly they aren't anyone else's business but his and mine. I'm not going to put his plans here, or anywhere else, so that a group can just say they either do, or do not, agree with his intended plans. I thought it was nice that I got the horse sold, she has a great home, and I was happy about it so I wanted to share. Nothing more. I didn't want a damn bitchfest and pages and pages of arguments when in reality, the assumptions that are being made are based off minimum details, and the conclusions being drawn are incorrect. It was hard enough for me to load up a horse this morning that I have poured my blood, sweat, and tears into for quite some time now, just to have her turn and look at me like "why can't I stay with you? Where am I going?" Then I get on here and y'all are bitching about two things that you don't have all the details about. When did this board become a place where a person has to disclose every detail of a transaction?

I made the comment about more money then brains based on the traveling deal and only that.I Even stated my statement had nothing to do with the sale. When I die , I am certain my funeral will actually have people showing up , friends , family etc... When you go if anyone shows up it'll be the people left to put you in the dirt again (since ole painted cow did it once already; how on earth you fall off a horse like that though...):::looks in mirror:::::::whispers::: Horsehawk,Horsehawk,Horsehawk!!!!!!

That's a pretty sad deal. After all, you're all so perfect and never present your opinions without judgment and sarcasm. The Fugly blog nurtured the unmoderated snark, you all took that and ran with it without remorse, limits, or consequences, and your board owner encourages the drama. So roll in it.

To me, yes. Will rich people always do stupid things with their money as long as they have it? Yes. 9 times out of 10, yes.Does it matter as long as he takes care of the mare? No.He could buy an 800,000 dollar racehorse just to watch someone braid its mane if he wanted to as long as he took care of it.

I think that you are incorrectly conflating people's surprise that the buyer planned to import a horse to another continent to trail ride with the idea that there is no market for quality horses. I didn't see anyone say that there isn't a market for quality horses, nor did I see anyone suggest that HNH's mare is not a nice horse. The fact that you and HNH quickly stepped in to clarify that the purchaser had other motives for importing the horse seems to suggest that you agree that importing a trail horse is not a logical proposition, so I am not really sure where the supercilious and argumentative tone of your posts is coming from.

Many of the reader will be jealous because the only shipping that they are going to do is the shipping of a half TWH crossed on a Quarter Arab,Morgan to a dog food processing plant as they don't even meet the grade for steaks in France....Ha!
