This
cat has been hanging around my parents' place and our neighbors. He'll
talk to you, but not come close enough to touch.
Until
today. I just walked up to him, and started petting him. He's skinny,
but 100% LOVABLE!! He's got some scabs on his tail, is skinny, and his
FACE is crooked! It's been like that for a while, but combine all three
together with a purring, drooling,
grabbing-at-my-hand-so-I-can't-walk-away kitty, and he has found the
right sucker!
I lured him into a carrier and
took him to the vet. She says his jaw is broken, probably by a car, but
it's set and he's fine. I don't know if you can tell from the photos,
but it's totally sideways. Yuck.
I was afraid
he'd run away, so I kept him in my bathroom for a bit. Nope. He yowled,
but was talky and lovey after that. He's so cool. His shots and neuter are scheduled for Monday.
He needs a name...neighbors call him
"Shed cat" because that's where they feed him so their GSDs don't chase
him.
I am sooooo attached. Did I love the
little, cute kittens that I bottle fed last year? Not half as much as my
ugly tabby <3

"Moar?"

This is how his jaw is always

"Your hand should get back here now..."

"Pet me!"
