Horsebeckz99 wrote: He is nice, but very green. And he isn't been ridden well. Where is her outside rein? He has no swing over his back. The canter will improve with schooling and strength but he does seem choppy moving regardless. Still you could probably get that money for him if he has a nice shape over a fence

I think that would be very beneficial on a lot of levels. buying, showing, confo, breeding, etc. I'd love that! NJ

Hunter Princess wrote: Hmm, this has been harder than I thought! I thought I had the high end prospect all figured out, but Chad's website doesn't have video of his fabulous sale horses So, here's my high end prospect (I defined high end as being able to be successful on the AA circuit at 3'6+ for several years, barring injury):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5XKLjDOdX-4 Cute giant 5yr old See how soft the canter is, even with how young and kinda gangly he still is? He's just a good mover in general, nice flat knees, big step, and nice and soft. He'll probably soften even more as he grows into himself! You can definitely tell he's still green though when he gets to jumping. The turns aren't as smooth, and his canter gets a bit less soft. He'll figure it out though, he's only 5, and he's a 17hh+ WB who is still growing. I bet in a couple years he's fabulous. His jump doesn't look that impressive now, but he's only jumping over tiny stuff and not bothering to really make an effort, but he is trying to use himself a bit even over the little jumps. I bet at 3'6 he's going to be great. Here's my midrange prospect (I defined midrange as being able to compete with success at the 3ft on the AA circuit occasionally or winning at 3ft on the competitive local circuit):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6PmOIkm2-ANot really spectacular, but decent. Changes are a bit sticky, but fixable. Good step for the 3ft, but would probably have to run for the 3'6. Good, safe jumper. Not a great mover, but fine enough. You can see it's still green around the edges, places where it gets tense in the canter/at jumps and where it isn't bending properly. Very cute though, and will probably finish up to be a pretty nice 3ft horse. Low end propsect (I defined this as a total local horse, not one you'd want to show off at the AAs):http://www.youtube.com/wa...feature=player_embedded#! Immediately you can see the difference in quality. It's a pretty stompy mover, plus it's kinda tense the entire time. However, it has a pretty nicely balanced canter and a great change. From what I can see, it's form overfences looks pretty solid.

Instead, I found this mare:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHGt0AK38TEI believe she's only 2 in the video, so there isn't any footage of her jumping, but I love her way of going. She has a little more knee than totally ideal, but she has a huge step and looks soft and balanced, especially for an obviously green baby. Obviously, her jump is going to make or break it, but I love her as a young prospect.
