It was a self-care facility, the owner had ten acres that he had divided up into individual pastures with shelters and he allowed two horse per pasture. There was an old barn that everyone kept their hay and tack. My daughter really enjoyed having her mare there and even cried when we left, it was a mistake to bring our mare to our place. I think that you are correct, being around other horse people would be helpful at this point. But like I said, I am NOT going to buy a horse any time soon.

When I ride my horse I get to forget I have a brain injury I was the daughter who wouldn't lift a finger in the house but cycled madly off in the pouring rain to spend all morning mucking out a stable.
