This might be a little long but I'm at my wits end.
My 10 year old daughter has had issues with UTI's since she was a baby. She has had tests up the ying yang, and has seen Peditritians, Urologists, you name it.
Today, I brought her to the family doc because she had all the symptoms. Pain after urination, and going to the bathroom a hundred times a day. But urine sample shows no infection. And this is the norm for her. I have seen this child start screaming in pain and loose control of her bladder. She "dribbles" often, and even when she's not showing symptoms of a uti, frequent urination is common for her. She has had ultrasounds, MRI's, die injected up through her bladder to check for reflux, and so on. Everything was normal.
But she still has this same problem 4-5 times per year. All the symptoms, with the urinalysis comming up negative. I'm just so frustrated with this. I know she's in pain, all you have to do is look at her. And I'm there when she's going to the bathroom so often during the day. I HATE seeing her like this, and just getting the "we can't find anything wrong" speech from the doc is getting frustrating as well.
Has anyone ever had a child that's gone through anything like this?
