Simply put what age is it safe to measure for and order a bridle? I have a two year old Friesian/Arabian and I'd like to order a bridle, but I don't know how much more his head is going to grow. He's 15.1h right now and we're hoping he will mature at least 16hh. I haven't measured him yet, but when I do if he's between sizes do I go large and hope he grows into it? Or do I order what would fit now and hope he doesn't outgrow it? May be a silly question, but with an expensive purchase I don't want to make a mistake. Should I just wait until he's three and order one then? I'm not going to ride him until he's three (obviously), but thought it might not be a bad idea for him to learn to wear one now. Anyway thanks for your help. I'm going to measure him now to see if he's a horse size or warmblood size (and hoping the Arabian in him doesn't make it really funky). I'll post measurements later. Thanks!
