There is a reason they don't recruit middle aged men.( Actually, a whole bunch of them.) And now we want them to be all PC and Kumbaya as well. Is that realistic? Is it fair?

Oh the horror!Never one time has it ever crossed my mind that she might "look" at me in "that way" or be attracted to another woman in her business. Fucking ridiculous that anyone in the military would ever be concerned about that.I agree with you 100% but I think the sharing of shower stalls can make some people feel uncomfortable as what happens at my gym on a regular basis. It's awesome that it saves on shower stalls when the gym is busy. it does make some people uncomfortable. As would men and women in a shower stall. Actually I'd be way more uncomfortable with a man and a woman than a woman and woman for some reason.

My husband leaves for his 5th deployment next month and he wouldn't have it any other way, neither would the group of 30 guys who volunteered to go as well with a wait list 60 people deep.

I do like privacy.

Fixed that for you. The majority of 18 year olds in our country DON'T want to be in the military. They DONT want to fight in a war. The majority would rather go to a concert than be in the military. Hell, a lot of people enlisting now don't actually want to be in the military. They just want the benefits it provides.
