So, the neighbors across the street are white trash. No bones about it. I don't really care, but this is my issue with them:
They speak/discipline their kids in a ridiculous fashion.
Just now, they were SCREAMING at the kids (little girl no older than 5, and a boy who can't be older than
for throwing a ball and having it come across the street. No, not just 'Why did you do that?!' I'm talking (and I quote) "What the fuck were you thinking, you stupid son of a bitch?" to the little boy. The woman (I presume their mother) was also yelling at the girl "I am so tired of sweeping the mother fucking mud off this porch because your stupid ass tracks it up here. Take your fucking shoes off!"
This isn't the first time I have heard them talk to the kids like this. Just the other day I witnessed the mother (?) say to the little girl "If you're not going to show me any fucking respect, I'm not going to show you any either, you little bitch. Fuck you." and then said "Go ahead and run in the street. Get hit by a car. See if I fucking care."
At this *very second* I can hear them screaming at the kids. "What the fuck are you doing?!" Mind you, I'm inside. This is the decibel level we're talking. I have double paned storm windows, and light music on as well. I can hear them clear as day.
The whole family seems to talk to the kids like this. Yell yell yell.
The kids appear fed, but are always despicably filthy. They talk better to their *million* chihuahuas than they do these children.
I just got off the phone with the non-emergency line, and they said they'd send someone out. However, I am really worried about these kids. I remember last year the father and the little boy were trying to get a couch up the porch stairs, and the dad had the top (lighter when going up stairs) of the couch. The boy couldn't lift the back half, and the dad got livid that the kid couldn't lift it. Giant, full size couch. I would have been struggling. He shoved the kid out of the way, and basically threw the couch up the stairs, screaming at the boy all the while.
Is this worth calling CPS over? I mean, if these people are willing to treat their kids like this in public, what are they doing in the home? What do you guys think?
