I think it was alton brown who used to go on all the time about not having any single use items in the kitchen, everything must be able to multi task or its just taking up more space than its good for. So now i get stupid kitchen things for christmas and try and look appreciative while in my mind i'm all "single... Use... Object..." but i guess it could also be used for corn bread or something?
