I know I have posted about it before, but Jaymes pretty much trashed his room over the last 4 years. He tore up (and peed/pooped/threw up all over it beforehand) all his carpeting, pulling the tacks out with his teeth. He climbed up somehow and broke the ceiling fan too. The walls, he chipped off the paint in huge sections. He would use the electrical outlets to stick things in, and he'd rip apart his closet every night.
We put a ton of time, effort, and money into his new room, and it is BEAUTIFUL. Best of all, it's Jaymes proof for the most part.
We had the electrical outlets removed from the walls, then covered over (up to about my waist height) in this easy to clean paneling. Apparently the stuff is used in day cares and nursing homes, it's tough stuff. We repainted the room, blue and green. The entire floor was done over in pretty tile, double glued down. Now I can mop the floor in there!!!
Jaymes still loves jellyfish, so I painted jellyfish in rainbow colors, each with a different emotion, on one wall. There are sad ones, happy ones, goofy ones, angry ones, one smarmy French one, and one that appears to be on fire. He just LOVES it. I painted the lightswitch cover thing too, with glitter. It's got like seaweed sort of designs on it.
We replaced the ceiling fan with a light bulb cover thing that snugs right up against the ceiling. The bed was bolted down to the floor so he can't move it to try and get out of the windows (which are also bolted), and I put what I think is a Jaymes proof lock on his closet- it requires a key, so I doubt he'll get it open.
Anyway, pics...
The door, with rainbow wooden lettering. It isn't straight, but oh well.

One view, with his new trampoline. He loves it, when he is getting too worked up, he jumps and calms down.

View of his bed, piled high with stuffed animals at the moment

His closet door, I worked really hard on this!

Jaymes is still with his therapeutic foster home, and is doing wonderfully. He is so happy, sweet, and he's finally potty trained!!!!! His aggression seems to be gone, and he is just so much sweeter to me. I take him every Tuesday and Sunday. with more days to be added over time. He's just really doing well. My meds are stabilized now too, so I'm doing very well, finally.
