Hold your hand over your nose - if you have your head tipped back you can't see a thing, if you drop it down though you can still see just fine.

That was in Aachen - not at the World Equestrian Games, but at the CHIO. I shoot frequently at horse shows, although I'm always a little afraid of horses. For this picture I was standing on the edge between the audience, was 30 meters away from the jumping rider Margie Goldstein-Engle. The American wanted to end their triple combination. The crash became apparent already at the second obstacle was hanging in front of the rider and fell down. But somehow get the horse to not jump on and hang in the air. Goldstein-Engle was lucky to get up again, only wore them minor injuries.
