"Last fall 17 horses were seized from this very farm. Although the owners pled guilty, the horses were all given back to them. Now it's happening again and NOBODY will help the horses seen in the photos. Their hay is now gone. They are even skinnier than before and they haven't received hoof care in a very long time. News stations have been contacted and they have chosen to not run a story. The Humane Society has been called multiple times and they won't return my calls. Help us get help for them. They have since run out of hay and are thinner than in these pictures"
The humane society will not do anything as the horses are not dead, and they do not deem them in danger of dying. Someone is throwing them hay once in a blue moon, and unfortunately they had hay when the HS cam out the last time. What can you do in a situation like this? Are these horses really not skinny enough to seize?
