Thanks to the wonderful south Louisiana weather, Kolo's feet are horrid looking at the moment. His hooves have started to crack and lose chunks from the bottom. While he isnt even sore on them, I'd like to prevent that from happening.
Are there any good supplements or hoof oils that would help his hooves out? The weather here goes from pouring rain, to hot and humid within an hour repeatedly throughout the day.
Currently I am just coating his hooves with fiebings, which I have always used, but it doesnt seem to help much. I also picked up some biotin crumbles last week and had the staff start him on those. Any other suggestions as to what I could do? He's always had fantastic feet until I moved him here. He get's quality feed, pasture, and hay, and has a clean bill of health
