The rescue:
A photo essay.
Once we got on the road I called over to the Rescue and spoke with CP.
She told me she was just going to call me because after handling the POA, she decided it would be at least a week or two before I could pick her up. She said at the moment she was "dangerous". Striking out, pawing, biting, kicking, hard to catch, not halter broke. She told me it took 2 people to rope her, to catch her and halter her.
I told her: Well we are already on the road. We will take a look when we get there, maybe there will be something else for me to take in. Great.
We arrived:

OMG SQUEE!!!

We met Sophie. Sophie followed us around and introduced us to everyone. She gave out hugs and emotional support when needed to people and horses alike. (Sophie has a home.)

A matched pair of "Hackney's."

Oh Catherine, did I tell you they are "broke to drive".

Black 1 is probably preggo.

Caught you, Black 2!! Might be preggo.

Black 1 thinking about it.

So here we are and I can't figure out who is gimpier at the moment me or Black 1.
Deep sand + Bad knee = OMG my leg is going to fall off!

Sophie makeing sure Dave can properly lead the possible new pony.

Spotty thinking.. Humm maybe I shouldn't have been so quick to act like a psycho.

Maybe I will go home with Sam..... (Who I have decided is Natrlhorse's long lost daughter in looks and style.)

Sophie telling the Haffie: It's not you sweetie, she likes you, but your too big...
Haffie cries.. but I have been dieting and everything....
Sophie says: I know sugar it's not you it's Her.

You know that thing about "Giving a Moose a muffin....."
Apparently there is some rule about the number of ponies you can catch and an empty stock trailer.
Dave has agreed:

Ohh look at them feet!!
Black 1

Black 2

Black 1 and 2 loaded on to the trailer like they have been doing it all their lives.
Then Spotty and Sam had a talk. It got a little loud.

Spotty didn't listen and was left behind. However, Sam was finally able to get close enough to take of the lead.
Ohh look quarantine! (Will be moved to a grass pen tomorrow.)

Black 1 Getting wormed:

Black 2's widdle nose.

Black 1 accepting a hand.

Black 2 getting a Good Bye hug.

We went for a little spotted pony and came home with a matched pair.
These were the best looking, healthiest horses of the bunch seized.
Not a cough or snotty nose to be seen. Just really hungry and shitty feet abound.
Lots of donated hay and feed.
Aramsamsam and Stable boy brought enough wormer for all.
Kindly donated some sand clear for my 2, a bag of Manna and some treats.
They also wouldn't let me pay them for the gas they used hauling the trailer and then refused to let me buy them dinner and instead bought for Dave and I.
Thank you guys. Thank you. I couldn't have asked for better friends.
PS Sorry EZ... After watching Spotty be handled, I have no shame in saying she was too pony much for me.
We took what we felt we could do the best for.
Let the naming begin!!!
