So I am thinking about mouths and faces today. I've started working on getting Sol more used to having his face and mouth touched. I speak to him slowly
and softly and make no sudden movements, and gently stroke his face. He's getting a bit better with it, but is there anything more I should do?
I am thinking forward to next month when he gets worming meds again. If I can get him really used to having his face and mouth touched, perhaps I can get that tube in before he realizes what's up and has time to flip out. Right now he's fine with a halter and the like but he does get a little more shy about being touched than many of the horses there. What do you think?
Thanks as always.
